A*Teens Spice Girls Wham! (I'm not ashamed to like George Michael, but Wham I kind of am for some reason. I think the video for "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" had something to do with why. Could the guys have looked more lame if they tried? This coming from soneone who is Pro Choice.)

I have to admit, me either. I have found myself humming the song and not slapping myself for doing so. They still get on my nerves but hey. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

that song IS really awesome, though. The only Kenny Loggins song I like--I realized this a few years ago while watching 'Full Frontal Fashion' when during one of the designer shows the DJ just looped that song over and over.

Ofra Haza I have everything from everyone listed above, and - yet -if they put out something new tomorrow, I'd be the first in line to buy it. Holy crap! Not much of a chance of Ofra Haza releasing anything new I'm afraid. Nothing to be ashamed about there.

Been a fan for 9 years now, since I was 12. Been to see them live twice, and I even bought myself a concert tee last time. And you know what? Since they've stopped attempting the freakishly-perfect boy-next-door boyband bullshit and started acting like real human beings in public, I like them even more. [Edited 3/12/06 19:04pm] ..I like BSB too...they have good pop songs as far as I'm concerned...I Want It That Way is still one of my favorite songs..lots of drunken karaoke nites beltin' that one out... Dead or Alive is a major guilty pleasure of mine too....I'm not ashamed of that until someone sees some of their album covers in my collection....

I'm not really into today's hip-hop,but I like Snoop Dogg
I think he plays the whole "gangsta/pimp" role more convincingly than any other rapper, and if they ever make a remake of the 70s blaxploitation classic "The Mack",he would be perfect for the role, lol. Plus, every so often,he comes out with a song that I can never stop singing.Remember that jam with Pharrell ("Beautiful") from a few years ago?

Speaking of Pharrell, How come Pharrell can produce great tracks for others but lame-o tracks for himself? I never understood that.

I'm not ashamed of my love for country music (merle haggard, jimmie dale gilmore and likeminded types), but I am pretty tired of constantly having to defend it, so I just don't bring it up much anymore.
I have a big soft spot for 70's soft rock...Jackson Browne, Cat Stevens, Boz Scaggs and that sort of business. Even worse, I'm something of a sucker for a well-placed string section, as long as the song isn't too melodramatic. [Edited 3/21/06 12:05pm]
