I love Nelly. I cannot wait for this new album.
"Promiscuous Girl (feat. Timbaland)" will be the first single. The video should be all over TV in the coming weeks.

I still love "Picture Perfect," "Try" and "Grass Is Green." I need to see her live eventually. Have you, by chance? . [Edited 3/11/06 4:06am]

I think her first album wasn't that good except for Turn Off The Light. The rest of the songs were way too teeny-pop.
But Folklore was really great! I love some of the songs off that album!

She looks great in this picture. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

She is going for a more commerical sound thus why Timba's on board with some others...
I know Nelly and she let me hear the first single and this is got HUGE potential to be a huige hit Told her she is gonna be competing against her hero (she is a big P fan) and she is kinda freaked out by it but thinks its gonna be fun She has yet to hear 3121 and refuses to download it before its released - what a puritan! I told her he stole a sample she used on her debut CD and she cant believe it! Well, believe it Nellstar [Edited 3/11/06 7:52am] The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

But Folklore was really great! I love some of the songs off that album! "Whoa Nelly" had its moments and when it had those moments it far outshined a lot of the lackluster stuff on the album. "Whoa Nelly" survived in my eyes because of Turn Off The Light, I'm Like A Bird, Party and ...On The Radio. And, whoa, the urban remixes she did around this time were bliss. I think that's what she's trying to re-capture with "Loose."

Yeah, they should, like 2020 said, "Folklore" wasn't well recieved cause it was out of touch with American radio (Not that I care about that! But if ya wanna sell some records you gotta appeal to the kidz!) This time out, I feel Nelly wants to be as leftfield as she was on Folklore, but in a more commercial, radio-friendlier way. And in 2006 that means urban/hip hop chic. Hopefully, it'll be sort of like Kelis' "Wanderland," which was the perfect mix between leftfield and commercial.

Just found out she worked with the Neptunes on a track called "No Hay Igual (feat. Pharrell)."
She's definitely going in a more urban-influenced direction this time.
