Will The REAL Klymaxx ever have a Reunion Album or Tour? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klymaxx
Klymaxx was a female R&B group formed in Los Angeles, California between 1979 and 1990. The group consisted of vocalist Lorena Porter, guitarist Cheryl Cooley, keyboardists Lynn Malsby and Robbin Grider, bassist Joyce Irby and drummer/founder Bernadette Cooper. They became best known with their 1985 hit single "I Miss You" from their 1984 album Meeting In the Ladies Room. In 1982, they signed to the Solar label and became the first ever act to work with writers/producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The team wrote and produced a song 'Wild Girls' for their debut album 'Girls Will Be Girls'. After a second Solar album Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman in 1983, they switched the Constellation label (via MCA) for Meeting In The Ladies' Room which featured the Top 10 hit 'The Men All Pause' in 1984. Two years later their song 'Man Size Love' was featured on the soundtrack album to the movie Running Scared. The group were down to six members by the end of 1988 and by 1989 they had become just Cooley, Porter, and Grider. In 1990 they returned with The Maxx Is Back, including the singles 'Good Love' and 'Don't Run Away'. Klymaxx reunited on an episode of the popular VH1 series Bands Reunited in 2003 in order to perform some of their classic singles. However, Cooley did not participate in the performance due to friction between her and the other bandmates for starting up her own version of Klymaxx without permission. EDIT: In other words, the beef is far worse between Bernadette Cooper & Cheryl Cooley!!!

Look how small "featuring original guitarist Cheryl Cooley" is. She even has the original "Klymaxx" logo. I don't blame Bernadette for wanting to kick her ass. I wonder how Cheryl Cooley's band does the Bernadette Cooper parts of the songs. There's only one Bernadette and I don't see how anyone could replace her. Cheryl's band is like The Time without Morris Day. . . [Edited 3/11/06 16:29pm] Andy is a four letter word.

Here's a medley of Cooley's live preformance : http://cdbaby.com/allmp3/klymaxx.m3u http://cdbaby.com/cd/klymaxx I've read over some details of the wiki-article . Kinda sloppy of me , but the article has been sloppy as well : The album " Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman " was officially recorded and released in 1981 : http://cgi.ebay.com/KLYMA...dZViewItem Remarkable is that a few other sites like www.allmusic.com also mention " Never Undersetimate ..."- album was later released than " Girls Will Be Girls " . There was even an album-project from which nothing came out but one maxi-single :

Ont thing that always pissed me off about this band is the way the two main members (Bernadette Cooper and Joyce "Fenderella" Irby) walked away. They left the band in 1987,at the height of their success.Their 1986 self-titled album yielded two big hits ("Sexy" and "I'd Still Say Yes") and they still had alot of momentum. They could have been the female version of The Time, with several more big albums as the 80s rolled on.But Bernadette decided to jump ship and she released a solo album that flopped.Similarly,Joyce (who sings lead vocals on Klymaxx's biggest hit "I Miss You") went solo and released an album that also flopped.Their departures basically killed the band, although they continued on for a few more years.
