Anymore R&B Bands?

Are there anymore R&B bands? It seems like Rap and Hip-Hop killed musicianship. I don't mind a little rap or hip-hop, but I do resent their monopolizing the airwaves. I know, I know -- it sells. Anyway, I was curious are there any bands left? I'm not talking about the bands that are holdovers from 20 or 30 years ago. I mean, are there any new R&B bands on the horizon? By "band," I mean a group who plays their own instruments -- lead guiltar player, bass, synth, drummer etc.

Rhythm & Blues was the pioneer ( 1960's )

Urban Soul is the contemporary movement

I just got back from Victor Wooten's show in LA and they threw downwith everything you asked: not 1 not 2 but 3 excellent bassists, 2 female vocalists (plus the female bassist raps), a killer guitarist and an excellent drummer and keyboardist.

This was the end of the West coast tour and Victor goes back to touring with the FLECKTONES. I posted the whole tour last year. I can't help if y'all can't take a clue.

http://victorwooten.com/

Outside of that my latest buzz is 24-7 SPYZ. Well they're "holdovers from 20 or 30 years ago" but they are the bomb in my stero!

These brothers always did mindblowing jams .
I'd like to add Fishbone , Living Colour , Tackhead , Junglefunk and Ice-T's Body Count to the Hall of Flames .

Thanks everyone. I needed that. BTW, that girl in Fuzz is hot! If she sounds like she looks, I'll buy all their damn albums. GirlBros. I knew about of course. Nice to know Wendy and Lisa are still around. Victor Wooten...where can I find more info on his group?
