My EMI contact has been in touch with the english head office of EMI to get some clarity about what was to be the forthcoming Young Americans Collector's edition.

It is NOT being released as was planned.

*They* (but I think it's *US* ) were unhappy with the content of the Bonus Disc.

There was not enough on it , and they deemed it unreleasable as such.

The objective now is to find *more* content for it and so " They are heading back to the archives" -as my contact put it.

Now whilst this is in a way good news....

me too. but i want it to be worth being a reissue. my current version of young americans sounds fine and it has good bonus stuff on it. the new one was not terribly enticing (sp?).
