Yeah I already had all the regular stuff, but I wanted the bonus tracks... so i figured what the hell.

The best way to listen if from the actual DVD on the surround sound, though... wowie! It sound fantanstic.

I was standing in the middle of my living room listening to "Nothing but Flowers" on the 5.1 last night and I was just blown away... the bassline just pounds right through ya.

oddly, when i listen to 'remain in light' and 'fear of music' from the brick, i play them on my DVD player. part of it is the sound, part of it is i love the illustrations that go with each track.

my only gripe with the brick is that they were a little stingy with the video content. i was expecting a little more content than we got, though i will admit it was worth it for the performances on that german music tv show...though whoever filmed that clearly had a love affair with the female background singer (and a hate affair with tina...you barely saw her!).

I haven't watched all the video content yet.. I did watch the Love for Sale and Wild Wild Life videos last night... both are awesome.

I really do think True Stories is underrated.... i like almost every song on it, especially Radiohead and Love for Sale

buying the brick was a great investment. it's one of those "if your house was burning down, what would you grab" items for me. nod

Most of their videos were on a DVD that was included with the 3 CD Box set that Rhino put out a couple of years ago. I guess they were trying not to duplicate content too much

And the Surround sound is wonderful on the Cube set. Especially on "Remain in Light" . And I love how on the song "Nothing But Flowers" from "Naked", the guitar parts all come out of different speakers

yeah, i have the "once in a lifetime" box set...i had to have it just for the packaging alone...but i thought we were going to get more live TV performances, oddities, goodies, etc. i don't think the brick is a rip-off, but i don't know that the DVD content is absolutely necessary, unless i suppose you're an audiophile. i don't mind my music sounding like crap for the most part. lol
