Haven't U heard "fury" that is sum lazy shit vocals there, and "Incense And Candles" those vocals were cool about 8 years ago! Maybe the album i downloaded sounds nothing like the CD version, fingers crossed anyway!

By the way, could 'Dre have been listening to "Can't Stop This Feeling I Got" when he cut "Hey Ya!"

Not saying that he did.

But I was listening to "Can't Stop" this morning right after my post in this thread while I had TLB on my brain.

I don't know about this being a masterpiece really... some songs are absolutely great, others are quite the opposite. I guess I'd like it better as an instrumental album, too.

My problem with TLB is that, IMO, it thinks itself 10x the album it really is. The whole thing just screams, "I'm the new sh*t! Y'all betta recognize!" Sorry, no. It's good, but not even great.

Peace, David

Since some of you have already forgotten, Andre3000 is the man and will remain so, until Prince can do a consistent album of brilliant music like this. Prince is doing better, but Andre is the true genius for now.

This will remain the album for a long time to come. Classic music for this or any other age. Like the best Prince, but with a great sense of humor and musical chops up the ass. The fucking jazz piano is mind bending. He does find great musicians.

This will remain the shit ya'all. woot! Hey Yahhhhh.

why compare him to prince? Andre ain't like prince at all as far as i can tell?

Speakerboxx is really good too. At first I just listened to Love Below because it was so good and never gave Big Boi a chance but he's got mad skills, in a different way.

Even Prince admitted to loving Hey Ya, and don't forget every critic either called this the best album of the year, but the best Prince album that Prince never did.

Andre could not perform these songs.
He did not write the songs, his instructor did.
Americans have such low musical standards.

I don't know which disc I liked better.
Both guys I guess are cool and kinda creative, but if

She Lives In My Lap is the only song that is actually great on that album the other songs are just good. But still that album is better that other hip hop crap the gets churned out every year.
