The O'Jays-She Used Ta Be My Girl I've been listening to this song lately and it's a great tune . It's has a catchy melody and it just makes you feel great. But, I guess I'm being biased since The O'Jays are one of my favorite groups. What's your take on the song? Are there any other tunes that make U feel this way?

This song just makes me feel good.Takes me right back to those lazy, hot days of 1978....just being a kid and enjoying all the amazing songs on the radio.I remember this song was huge,I heard it everywhere.
deep down inside I still love her I'll place no one above her she's warm and sensitive for as long as I live she'll be my girl without question,Gamble and Huff were the greatest R&B producers of the 70s.

That's exactly the feeling I get when I hear this song! Reminds me of family barbecues,on a hot Saturday afternoon. In the 70s,we had alot of those.

This album is so special to me.I recall my father had the 8-track,and we played it all the time. All eight songs are superb...there's no filler here at all.In addition to the massive hit "Used To Be My Girl",the album also contains the dramatic ballads "Cry Together" and "Brandy".There's even an excellent disco number "This Time Baby",which was successfully covered a year later by Jackie Moore.

There u go, David. Yeah, my mom had this record and the 8 track. So I heard it in the house and the car. Great album. I really dug "Brandy". I wrote a thread about that song a long time ago about it being about a dog. Remember that?! SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
