does anybody remember who did "i will survive" over? i was kind of a slow version. i think i came out in the 90s. it was a hit and they would play it alot on the radio but it wasn't in the stores for a long time because of some kind of law dispute. does anybody know what i'm talking about?

I remember that because my best friend LOVED the song. In the video it was her and some girlfriends driving in a car and stuff.

I never need to hear the original version of I Will Survive again. Yes, it's a classic and for good reason, but it's on every single disco compilation. You cannot escape from that song. That is why I love Chantay's version. She changed the style of it, slowed it down, and made it into a more sorrowful goodbye song.
