music The black Cow demos are awesome! I'll be listening to these for the rest of the day( I love work!) Even in their most stripped down form, these are still brilliant songs.

Thanks Trickology clapping

Nice links Trick. The Steely Dan Interview Page is one I didn't know about. thumbs up!

The Steely Dan Archive used to be Andy Metzger's Steely Dan Page

Here's a really great site by Howard Wright http://www.jmdl.com/howard/ on music, guitars (including his PhD thesis on acoustic guitars), acoustics, psychoacoustics and also includes a cool SD page on chord voicings http://www.jmdl.com/howar...index.html

The Steely Dan Internet Resource http://www.granatino.com/.../wandm.htm is a general link site to a lot of SD info.

And last but not least the Steely Dan Database http://members.home.nl/ha.../index.htm for all things SD.
(includes a cross reference for every musician that had anything to do with SD)

For Donald to yell out at a musical part thats a rare occurrence. In the dutch interview he says all his music deserves to be played in background of shoe stores and elevators. He gets more excited about fifties and sixties jazz records.

If it wasn't for SD High LLamas wouldn't have a career.
Not that Sean O' Hagan isnt one of the coolest because he is but facts are facts. His records would just sound like Pet Sounds/Smile
