Oasis and their new album "Heathen Chemistry"

I don't have it, and not planning on getting it because here in America, I haven't heard a thing from them since "Wonderwall". lol Also Bowie just put out "Heathen" so it's kind of coincidental.

But other than the fact that these guys jock the Beatles shamelessly, I wonder who out there believes their recent claims that they r all sober now and the 2 brothers get along like peas in a pod or whatever.

I mean, they sounded like they were pretty fucked up b4 and I heard more about their behavior than their music so I wonder if it's really possible 2 turn around that quickly.

I checked their website and these guys actually r selling out a lot, I think they sold out 4 shows at NYC (but not venues like MSG)...

WHY???

(Oh, and if anyone has heard the new album let me know how it is...it's on CDNow as we speak...)

They always made the same record imo, unlike Blur.

Personally I think Oasis are a bunch of cunts.

As jnoel said they just keep spewing out the same song over and over and over and over...

Plus Liam must be the ugliest muthafucka on the face of the planet.
Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I CAN'T stand Oasis! mad
If I song of their's comes on the radio I have to change the station, that is how much I don't like them. If it wasn't for their tabloid antics they wouldn't have lasted this long. All their songs sound they same, would it kill them to learn more than 3 guitar chords? :p

ain't that the truth, it makes the Blur vs Oasis war in the mid 90s seem so pointless, too bad Damon fell into all that

ah, well... it's no more coincidental than them ripping off (pardon me, "paying homage to") the Beatles and Bowie throughout their entire career.

LOL...well, I kinda thought they had something with "Whats The Story...etc." because I felt Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall ripped off The Beatles but did it well. I mean Wonderwall itself was a song title associated with George so that's just blatant theft right there. They were cool on that album.

What sux is 2 b a guy in Oasis who kisses the ground Bowie and the Beatles walk on and then have George Harrison call u "rubbish". Ouch!

"Wonderwall" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
But I just can't bring myself to buy one of their albums.

Not a great album by any stretch of the imagination.
They should call it a day b4 it gets embarrasing.

Apparantly Noel said that Born on a different Cloud was so good he couldn't believe Liam wrote it.

If Noel thinks this is a good song he really should get out more.

Buy the single The Hindu Times. It's the only decent song on there.

Guessing here: Liam is the cuter one, who whines and sings in "Wonderwall", and Noel is the one with bigger eyebrows and plays guitar?

Sorry, I'm not up 2 date on my Oasis info...boo...hoo. smile

Yup, if you ask me, Noel has the much better voice and needs to dump his little bro if he ever wants to move forward...
