Anybody Here Heard Michael Jackson's New Single? Apparently, Michael Jackson was here in Germany a coupla weeks ago with the news crews following him as usual and having him make the evening news for a day or two. That in itself didn't catch my attention so much as a series of billboards that have appeared in all of our Hamburg subway stations for the past 10-12 days or so, advertising his new "untitled" single...out NOW...I was wondering if anyone on this side of the pond has heard it yet, and if it's any good? Or is it the Katrina single that everyone was waiting for some months back...? | |

The single is out here and they haven't given it a title,so I was just wondering if it was the Katrina song or not because I haven't been listening to the radio or anything. Otherwise I give a poot butt about a new song from Michael...but given the Katrina fiasco is far from over, if he put out something for the relief aid I would probably buy it...no matter how sucky it sounds .... | |

LOL!Bet your bottom dollar it will! you're probably right. but if it turns of to be the hurricane relief single for Katrina that would be so sad. all throughout New Orleans, FEMA hasn't picked up a shread of debris or provided aid to remove dead bodies from underneath rubble. i was hoping that this single, however crappy, would be a chance to get some new money flowing in since virtually nothing's been touched in that city since the disaster (other than the sports arena)... | |

Not hate, i mean, there seem to be people still defending Michael Jackson, when there are numerous reports, clarifications that he abused children.. I mean, how far do you go in defending a person because he is some 'black icon'?, look further, think deeper, follow your heart, soul and intuition.... I do, but that man needs to be locked up with psychiatric help | |

You know, I really don't want to hear another word about that media mess. Believe what you want to. Its HATE when you can't have a discussion about someone's music without bringing up all that other junk. This post started about a new song and is slowly decending into a pile of dung. I want to hear the new single. The man is talented and none of you haters can take that from him. Learn to seperate personal opinions. If I had to place judgement on every artist in the biz, my CD collection would SUCK. I hope the song is good. [Edited 3/3/06 9:42am] | |

well, i dont judge people on the surface soley, why should i like or love a person who is mentally ill, abusing children, confused? First off, WHY DID YOU COME TO THIS THREAD? Was it just to post this off topic bullsh*t? Lots of musicians are mentally ill, depressed or have something wrong with them. That has no bearing on whether or not they make good music. Sometimes it is their illness, depression or whatever that drives them to do so. Do you have ANYTHING to say about the new song? If not, please leave the thread. You are accomplishing nothing.

Do you know how much BS has been told about him time and time again? Repeating it alone does not make it more true. Now, I agree that this was more serious of course, but damn, the man has been cleared of the accusations. That is all we can for sure about this. EVERYTHING else is just hearsay and rumours. Anyway, this has been too much about this already. Cue the music back in! | |
