i don,t like 50.cent he is stupid i still love rap music if they take some of the hard heads out and teach them a lesson about real hip hop and stop trying 2 out do each other and all just get along then the rap world would be just fine insted they want 2 kill each other and and say my house is bigger then his and my crew can beat your crew raps not what it uesd 2 be these young bloods they messed up the rap game for good that why they crash and burn so fast

I hate to say it, but I agree with you. I used to like Janet very much, but the past few years, her music and videos are boring. I feel the same about her brother too (MJ). Nothing from MJ has thrilled me in years.

Loved 'em growing up but now it's like how many times can you rewrite the same song.

Fishbone...used to love 'em to pieces, but after two albums in a row with homophobic lyrics, I had to part ways. I still love Truth & Soul, I gotta admit.

Ahh Anx Man, I love Fishbone. But to be honest their stuff hasn't been the same after Give a Monkey...some would say after Reality. Anyway Truth and Soul is a classic. It kinda opened my eyes to a lot other music.
I understand your concerns, there's no place for that homophobe BS, but what albums were you referring to?

reality of my surroundings and the album after that, which i think is the monkey album.

and i'd be remiss if i didn't admit that there's some early public enemy that i find equally as homophobic, but i give them a pass because it's PE and they kick my butt...plus, i think they've evolved past some of their earlier comments.

understandable. But I don't think PE should get a pass either but like you said hopefully they've evolved since then and maybe Fishbone has too.

Back on topic,
Jodeci and all those so called R'n'B boy bands in the mid-to late 90's. Use to like 'em some of them. No more. Sounds corny and contrived.

The only thing I can think of in Reality... is when he says "it's a heterosexual celebration!" Is that what you're talking about?

I need to add Weezer to my list. And Metallica. I LOVE their old stuff, but I have no desire to listen to their newest efforts. And the Chili Peppers come to think of it. hmmm

yeah, that track mainly, and the "me gay? no way!" chant kinda disagreed with my ears for some odd reason. lol

lol They say that? I don't even remember. I haven't heard it for a long time because I lost my CD and now only have a Greatest Hits type thing.

Rhastus

LL Cool J. I love his early stuff, but when he started doing all those wussy(i Know he did them before that) duets i lost interest.

of course I can't even listen to most rap that has come out since the early 90's and most of the stuff thats out now is just plain garbage

Most "classic" rock groups. I still like most of the old stuff, but I've heard it so much and the majority of them that still actually put out new albums just suck or are average

I'm pretty much stuck in the play my old shit for all but a few artists
