This is one of my favorite disco compilations.I love it because it contains mostly rare stuff that you won't find anywhere else.I get tired of numerous compilations that contain the same songs over and over ("I Will Survive"..."Ring My Bell"..."Boogie Ooogie Oogie",etc).Granted,I love all those songs, but it's nice to hear some rare, forgotten disco jams too. Many of these songs didn't do very well on the charts, but they became huge underground hits in the nightclubs. One of the best tracks is the gorgeous "There'll Come A Time,There'll Come A Day" by an act known as Basic Black and Pearl.I can't believe that this great song flopped as a single when it was released in 1975! This CD is one of the few places where you will find the 1980 hit "Overnight Sensation" by Jerry Knight,a song that has been discussed several times on this site."Mainline" by Black Ivory is also noteworthy...a classic, dreamy disco track from 1979.If you are a disco fan,you must add this CD to your collection.

Where's Finess at? I'm sure he's familiar with all of these songs.
