i love him. amazing voice. i saw his show this summer in LA it's very good.

Totally overrated.

He had one good release (self titled) and one very good release (Poses) but has released trash ever since. Both Want cds were mediocre at best with one or two standout tracks per disc. Rufus went from unknown to critics darling too fast and it screwed up his work. Maybe he just needs to get out of New York again and feel vulnerable. Whatever the problem, I've haven't cared about his music for quite a while.

I read somewhere that Rufus is doing a concert in june i think where he is going to perform the tracklist from some judy garland concert. Sounds fun

Rufus is an amazing talent. Poses is one of my top albums of this decade. It took me longer to get into Want One and Two, but once I did, I fell hard in love with them as well.

If you ever have the chance to see him live - - - do it!! He is fantastic.

This thread has inspired me to switch him on my mp3 player at work. Just listening to Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk. Is it just me or does this remind anyone of Around The World In A Day Era Prince?

I saw him live last year and it's been one the best concerts of my life, it was powerful, delicate and poetic all in once.

Songs like Cigarettes and chocolate milk, Go or go ahead or Movies of myself are just masterpieces.
