Gary Glitter Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison

VUNG TAU, Vietnam - A Vietnamese court Friday convicted former British glam rocker
Gary Glitter of obscene acts with two young Vietnamese girls and sentenced him to three years in prison followed by deportation from Vietnam.

Glitter, 61, whose real name is Paul Francis Gadd, was found guilty during a two-day trial of committing obscene acts with a 10-year-old and 11-year-old at his rented seaside villa in southern Vung Tau last year.

The court announced the verdict following a trial that was held in closed session to protect the girls' privacy.

Totally agree.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

but the sad, tragic truth is that another creep like that is still walking free, just because he probably had more money and better lawyers.....

Who i mean? The King of Brunei, formerly known as Michael Jackson. I hope the kids in the dessert stay miles away from that loser.

The news said he might get out in 1 year on parole. Considering he was facing the firing squad until paying off his accusers he's got off very very lightly.

They should start locking these freaks up for life. In the same vein I can't believe RKelly is still being played and still has a fan base! How can you have sex with your 14 year old god daughter, pee on her and still be played on MTV, radio and still have people like you. I am disgusted with how stupid people are on this earth. mad

Music is music. Glitter was still living in a big ole' house until his prison time, and u can thank royalties for his rock and roll part 1 song played in america alot proberly (UK unfortunately banned any of his music following the child porn thing)

Wonder if u can get his shit off ebay?

I hear his older brother is alleging that the charges are all false.

Wait.

Oh.

My bad.

He's lucky, very lucky, he only got three years.

In the wrong country, he could have been put to death.

Not that three years in prison, especially at his age, is going to be a cakewalk. It's not gonna be easy for him, especially if he's not in a segregated community. Child-molesters in any prison environment are just hit by EVERYbody.

"Do u wanna be in my gang" has a whole new iconic meaning. And i have never heard the word "love" used so much in a chorus before, as evident on "i love you love me love"

I admit, i love a couple of his songs. They remind me of old stripper songs grannies love.
