She did that a few years ago in (I believe) W magazine. She's said that as part of her addiction recovery she felt the need to show who she really is and not the Hollywood ideal.

See, I can say nice things about this cunt nod

lol

And I agree - nothing wrong with that first pic. She's 47. 47 year olds don't have the skin of a 20 year old, but Madonna's skin looks pretty good.

I think Madonna looks pretty good for her age, but I can't stand her hair do these days. I know it's supposed to reflect the 70's but it looks awful on her.

I agree. I know the look she's currently sporting is meant to tie in with her album, but the hair is way too harsh looking for her, and looks WAY too 'fussed over' and contrived.

I thought the soft, flowy, wavy hair she had during Ray of Light was very flattering. She ought to go back to that style, or a variation of it.

This is the perfect example. Everyone called her "Brave" But no one followed suit.
The day will come when someone strips down the pretense and it will resonate with the populace...and we may all come back to earth. For now Jamie is just the "Brave one".

That's just a front, she so want to be hot again.

I don't think so. Jamie's pretty real about her look and always has been. I've seen interviews with her from years back where she said she "scrubs up well" and doesn't like to play the glamour game like she used to. She's been talking for years about leaving the Hollywood game and only does a film now and again when she needs the dough.

Well, that is pretty impossible since I got a while before I get there. I doubt I'll still be posting on this messageboard at age 47, but it is something I'll write down & get back to you on. Nevermind what I may look like, Madonna is still wrinkled.

This is just stupid. This picture is meant to look unreal. Sure they evened out her skin on it to look utterly perfect as well, but that's not the point. They would have given the same treatment on a younger person as well. If the purpose of this pic would have been to look more authentic there would have been myriad ways to accomplish that too without making her look like a cartoon character.

Seriously, I don't want to defend Madonna, because I think she's a disgusting hag at best ( smile ), but you folks should realize certain things before starting your evigt rants.
