Neneh Cherry to Resurface at Gorillaz NY Concert In April GORILLAZ GO UPTOWN: De La Soul, Ike Turner, Shaun Ryder and Neneh Cherry, will join Gorillaz producer Damon Albarn and others to re-create songs for Demon Days Live, performing songs from the multi-platinum selling album at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem April 2-6. The previous staging of Demon Days Live took place last Nov. 1-5 at the Manchester Opera House. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m. EST through Ticketmaster. Demon Days Live is not to be confused with the live holographic tour the Gorillaz team and animation house Passion Pictures are currently producing for 2007-2008, a cross between live performance and a theme park, with the band fully present onstage in 3D.
