Well I'm pretty sure that he plays the piano because I remember seeing the piano on some show that he composed "Thriller" on.

yeah, i believe he can play piano.

MJ can play many instruments. I remember reading that he plays the guitar a lot and he often plays a lot of instruments for his albums.

i read that when mj shot the video for :they don't care about us in brazil, he was given some brazilian inturment and he quickly got it. also his invincible booklet said he plays some insturments. i know he can play the piano and a bit of the guitar. he also beat-boxes which i wish i could do cos making music is so easier that way.

I donnot know what his skills r but throughout the years he has been credited in booklets playing percussion, synths, guitar and harp (on speechless). He also plays the piano. Jennifer Baten (sp?), his tour guitarist, also stated he knew his way with a guitar. But i really don't think he's trained on any of those instruments.

i can just about remeber some interview with MJ where he was talking about how Slash and he would play the guitar for ages. I dont know about how good Mj is at playing any instruments but in his cd booklets he claims to play quite a few.
