Anyone in the Yay (Bay) area of California that follows Soul music KNOWS this sista! Great voice, great performer and her CD is one of the best Soul CDs you will ever hear. Another underappreciated artist being overlooked. Damn shame.

"Soulsinger" has bangers like: Get Outta My Kitchen, Stop Livin' In Ya Head, Take Time, Hotel, Free Again, Soulsinger, Groove On, and I Want'cha Babe.

The hard part is finding her CD. She has 2 versions of it as I will list below. BUT - If you can find this CD GET IT! You won't be disappointed. This is who Prince SHOULD have backed insetad of Tamar. The Giant Peach was where I found it and it had 10 left and that was last year. I also tried Rasputin and they said they had to order it, so try there. Amazon may have it or Overstock.com. Then there's always Amoeba. You can also try her website Ledisi.com and Lesunmusic.com. If you can find it, you should also pick up her Jazz release called "Feeling Orange But Sometimes Blue" - which may be damn near impossible to find now.

What an impressive body of work.
