So I guess Axl has come out of hiding and some songs from his album have been leaked, giving fans hope. The question is has he already blown it? It's been way too long now. By the way, he's been seen sporting a very Ali G look lately. Is Axl going through a mid life crisis?

I was walking through the mall last week and I heard Axl's voice coming from a store so I walked in and heard a song being played on the radio and it was great. I mean really really great. Apparantly it was one of the leaked tracks and it actaully gave me hope for the album.

The song I heard was not the "IRS" song leaked by Mike Piazza a couple of years ago or "Madagascar".

Who is Axl Rose?

Some high quality studio demos surfaced on the net days ago. First a one minute clip would show, then a two minute, then the full versions shown (tease). The 3 songs are "IRS" "TWAT"(there was a time) and "Better". I have the full versions of all three songs and they rock, just real great songs.

The 2002 tracks where taken from soundboards of live, "Chinese Democracy" "Madagascar" and "The Blues".

I suppose it depends what tracks you get!! and I noticed the quality among the different clips(1min 2 min etc) being different to some degree. I had to burn them to cd and listen to them on my fancy Onkyo cd player to get a real feel.

The 3 studio tracks are amazing!!! I had my doubts over time but now I can't wait to get this cd. "TWAT" is my favorite from the 3 new studio cuts followed by "IRS"..I like that song "Chinese Democracy" also..

Don't believe the haters, this will be a good album judging from the demos. Mad man Bucketheads allover that stuff.

Slash said release: 3/28/06, he still has some sort of biz relationship with them. Izzy is talking with Axl these days, and Slash is cool with Axl now. A bunch of shows are lined up.

The Izzy Stradlin cd "Like a Dog" cd is cool until then..and before that 3121!! Hell YEAH!!!

You're not dead wrong, just misinformed because a "lost" GNR album was started in 1994 but the band fell apart before it was finished according to the Axl Rose page on wikipedia. Most of the tracks from those sessions appeared on Slash's Snakepit's first album "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" though. So I guess the album isn't that lost.

I heard one of the songs and wasn't that impressed... it was the title track I believe.

I'd be interested to hear the rest, though G n R haven't been rated highly on my list since I was about 13.

It depends upon the tracks you have..the studio tracks rock, the live soundboards are rougher sounding. It also depends on what soundboard you have of what show, a few different soundboards exhist with "Chinese Democracy" and the sound quality varies.

That's the only one I heard. I dont know how you can hate on a Guitar riff like that. Solid rhythm section as well and Axl sounds cool to me.

of course, didn't the Axl cancel Rock in Rio last round.

Nowadays it´s cool to diss AXL ROSE. nowadays in the times of shit like Blink 182, and after rap metal bands like Linking park. But axl, as an artist, is ten times more worthy than all this green days and l inking park fools all over the place out there. I downloaded these 3 tracks yesterday and i think they are great. And it puts velvet revolver and any mainstream new band in the pocket, altought I love
slash and scott weiland.

Axyl wont making records anytime soon

20 second clip of another new song "Catcher in the Rye" surfaced, high quality prolly demo. In a few days the complete version will more than likely surface! if it follows the pattern of the 3 that have leaked.

I will make a prediction: Guns N Roses will reunite for another tour with the o.g. members except the original drummer or Matt. But who will care if Steve Adler isnt there?
