Beyonce Knowles is truly one of a kind. She says she's hoping that her latest release isn't another No.1 smash. The sexy singer and actress says she's changed the focus of her music career because there is no longer a challenge for her to reach the top of the charts.

"What's hard is trying to not really be No. 1 because I've had a lot of No.1 singles," said the 24-year-old star. "I would much rather do a timeless album than a No. 1 album. It's important that I grow."

Beyonce’s latest single “Check on It,” from upcoming “Pink Panther” soundtrack, keeps its seat atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a second straight week. The track also stays atop the Pop 100 chart and moves up 5-3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The Houston native can’t believe the track is so popular, considering it was originally written as a joke. She explains to EUR, “I got a really bad track from a producer (Swizz Beatz) and I couldn’t write anything to it so we started playing around and started saying ‘check on it’ and I remembered it. And when they said they wanted something for the movie, I thought well, even though it’s silly, it’s fun. And this movie is a comedy; it’s all about fun.
So I finished writing it and put the ‘Pink Panther’ theme music in the beginning and shot the video wearing pink throughout the whole video, and it became a No. 1 song.”

Beyonce has already admitted that that song is garbage.

Beyonce is the future. Seriously out of all the teen queens i think i like Beyonce the best of the bunch. And Pink.
Beyonce is sexy and classy at the same time. Unlike Crustina.

Shamefully i half enjoy Check on It..... to the point i bought it off Itunes.

Stupid Girls is a weak song at best, though the video is fucking classic.

.....Pink looks better as all them bitches than themselves..(except for Mary Kate, they looked just alike)

Correct: I wrote a really bad track and couldn't write lyrics to it.

Incorrect: I got a really bad track from a producer(SB) and I couldn't write anything for it.

Plus I think it's just spin. It's obvious from the Destiny's Child shout-outs in the track that it was previously recorded by DC3. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelly and Michelle's vocals are still on the track.
