Stevie's "Moon Blue"

There are a couple of good things on this album IMO, like "If your love cannot be moved", "So what the fuss", the title track or "Please don't hurt my baby". This one sticks out for me, though. A beautiful, classic Stevie ballad. The vocal harmonies, that little vocal run he does, followed by him giggling, the piano solo...
Reminds me so much of warm summer nights.

So, let's hear it for this one!

a lovely peace of music! really, IMHO there are so many great moments on the album, and this is one of them nod
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I grow tired of this one before song's end. It's a good one, but needs an edit, IMHO.

Really? I'm glad it's so long, because you can really sit down to it and get lost in it.

LOL. I agree. I like it, but it could be about 3 minutes shorter! (It clocks in at 6:45).

You don't like that piano at the end?

The other standout tracks are A Time To Love, How Will I Know and Please Don't Hurt My Baby. Overall I think it's a solid album.

I think the more people would focus on the album song by song, get past the plasticy production, they'd hear it's got some stuff on it that holds up to classic Stevie material.

It's a bit too long & I wish he'd used more live musicians, but the music is there, IMO.

One my my favorite tracks from that album! It reminds me of the jazz they would play at a club. A Time 2 Love is an incredible album and it was one of my faves from last year!

I'd agree with this and criticism aside, it's classic Stevie and it's NEW getting zero props for how amzing it actually is. No grammies? disbelief

I thought it did win a Grammy, but "in ceremonies held earlier" not on the televised portion.

You're not an idiot! But I think they mentioned it when he presented an award with Alicia Keyes in the beginning.

Yes, Stevie won the Grammy for pop male vocal for "From The Bottom Of My Heart".

It wasn't televised, like all 3 of Mariah's awards. mad
