In addition to the Visionary retail campaign which kicked off this past week across Europe and other international markets, SonyBMG also released an on the fly exclusive Michael Jackson remix EP on iTunes in Europe entiled Visionary-EP. Did anybody buy it? It's doing pretty good in each countries respective top album chart.

Look cool to me, how much is the boxset to buy?

The singles are retailing for £4.99 each. The box (which includes the "Thriller" single) is selling for £9.99.

If SonyBMG have any decency, they'll do the right thing and reduce the price of those singles to the same £1.99 price those Elvis Presley singles were selling for last year.

The box set looks great..you got "Rock With You" and "Don't Stop" I didn't even realize "Rock With You" was released yet. I'm so jealous!

'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough' was apparently #9 in the UK singles chart as of midweek. Pretty incredible for a 27yr old song everybody must have either heard already own in some capacity.

UPDATE:
I got my Visionary box today from hmv.co.uk and I love it. I'm still debating if I am going to open it or not. Hmmmm

It has been rumored this will be the last time. But I imagine it won't. I think it is like Elvis or James Brown. It is like every time someone new gets hired in the marketing department, they come up with some new idea or ploy to release Michael's old hits. After this it might be, "Michael Jackson: The Fast Songs" and then, "Michael Jackson: The Slow Songs" and then so on and so on. I don't believe besides picking out the artwork, Michael has anything to do with this release. I mean if he wanted to promote it, a cool idea would be something, him introducing each of his music videos live on air, give a quick interview about them, or something. I just up with that off the top of my head and I have no degree in business, so if someone in the marketing department got involved, who knows..? I wish for the fan's sake, Michael would either do one of two things.

1)Release a new album that is GREAT. Not another "Invincible." (Yes it was good, but it wasn't great.)

2)Release a collection of B-sides and demos. (Yes, "The Ultimate Collection" was a good start, but not quite there.)

and I'd still really like to see the "Katrina" song get finished, but who knows that. Instead, we are all playing, "Where in the world is Michael Jackson?" One is left to wonder what would have came of Michael's career had the 2005 trial/case never happened and Gavin and family never came into Michael's life. Yes I realize Michael's lifestyle was probably an accident waiting to happen, depending on whom you believe, it could work either way. If you think he was guilty, it was only a matter of time before he molested another kid. If you think he was innocent, it was only a matter of time before he met some cons and got taken to the cleaners by Sneddon again. I just know things might not have gone this way for Michael's career had this crap happened. Set aside the blame for a moment.
