The Pointer Sisters Rocked The 80's! They are so underrated in my opinion. As we all know their cd Break out was the bomb, loaded with hits and catchy ass songs but recently I also got their Contact cd. Twist my arm and Dare me are both on it. Who else digs this group? As a new wave/r&b act they kicked serious butt.

I heard "Automatic" the other day at a store. The Pointers owned the eighties (too bad they had some many problems after them).

What happened to the Pointers? June had problems with drugs and was forced out by the other members...her sisters! They said it was until she cleaned up her act but I think they seem to be more than happy with her replacement, who is either Anita or Ruth's daugther . In the ninties, I don't think they released one album independently but nobody cared. I think they also toured with some play, "Ain't Misbehavin". That was it. And now they are doing covers in Belgium with the Idol winnner...sad!
