I think any hip hop song would sound tight with:

1. Chic "Strike Up the Band"
2. Bros Johnson "Strawberry Letter"
3. Madonna "Physical Attraction"
4. Prince "7"
5. Nu Shooz "I Can't Wait"
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Has Grace Jones' 'Pull Up To The Bumper' ever been used?

I'll have to look the others up, but I can tell you right off that those two have been used. Yo Yo sampled Strawberry Letter 23 for one of the songs from her Black Pearl album and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis sampled the Nu Shooz tune for the Vanessa Williams tune, Happiness.

lol I love it. I think it's just as good as Grace Jones' version - so bad and so good in so many way. Her rap is hysterical.

Pull up to me bumper
Watch me in the theatre
blah blah blah
blah blah blah
blah blah center
If ya 'it the curb
then ya blah blah blah
Green light press the accelerator
When you see the red light
blah blah blah
blah blah blah
When you see the blah
Speed trap, don't pull over
whistle

Dip and Fall Back is another whole batch of badness!

I'm always open for suggestions. thumbs up!

I used (3) on one of my very first beats, and (2) on my album.

As for (5), I like Spyder-D's usage on "I Can't Wait (To Rock The Mike)".

Prince outtakes aren't used like they used to be.

Like "Big Tall Wall" could be easily reinterpreted:

The bass guitar line and wah guitar from the old 70's game show "Match Game". Y'all may think I'm crazy but I heard it yesterday and somehow it's screaming to be lifted.

Yes, Coolio's bad ass song called "ooh la la" is the shit and uses the full pull up to the bumper bassline, badd ass track!!!

i think grace jones is in the vid at the end too, or is it a lookalike,
well its a woman in a limo, thats all i know!

2. Bros Johnson "Strawberry Letter" , i think some people said Outkast used an interpolation on their song ms jackson but they said they didnt
i dont think either

3. Madonna "Physical Attraction" (definitely needs one)

5. Nu Shooz "I Can't Wait" (has been covered once or twice by some UK garage groups)

I know that there is a song on Beyonce's Dangerously in Love that samples or "interpolates" Strawberry Letter 23. I think it's "Me, Myself, and I".

The opening synth line of "More" by The Sisters Of Mercy. I would love to hear that sample beneath a house track.
