Bachata has crossed over to Europe? I guess that's logical if reggaeton can do it. However if you live near a Dominican community here in the states then you've known about bachata for years.

Bachata greates talent is Juan Luis Guerra, and his more sucessful albums were released between 1989 and 1993. In those years, Bachata was as popular in Latin America as today is reaggeton.

I recomend some of Juan Luis Guerra albums:
-BACHATA ROSA
-OJALA QUE LLUEVA CAFE
--FOGARATÉ
