Jennifer Lopez is an accomplished actress. Out of Sight, Selena, U-Turn; she's a better actress than Madonna and Janet combined.
Dancer: very good dancer, very well-trained, shows great variety in her steps and choice of material. I would say she's as good if not better than Janet, and much, much better than Madonna. Not as good as Paula Abdul in her prime. Better than Britney, but only because she has more experience. Britney, as a dancer, has got loads of talent too. Singer: umm. well. Like all the Madonna-likes, she can't sing very well. But that's not a liability in today's music business. Businesswoman: better than all of her contemporaries, with the exception of Madonna (who has ten years on her). Icon: Madonna reigns in this regard. Janet comes second. Britney and J. Lo are neck in neck for the same time period, but for different audiences, edge goes to Britney. Others in that category of pop-star-singer-performers can't really compete. Cristina Aguilera has the best voice of all of her generation of pop-stars but lacks the charisma. Gwen Stefani can actually sing, so she doesn't quite qualify. She also is more of an indie musician who is now hitting big and not a superstar icon-type of performer. Bjork? Not even close. Pink can sing her ass off and is good in many genres, but not much of a dancer, and definitely not an actress. Yet. (Charlie's Angels is not much of a debut). Jessica Simpson? Please. Jennifer Lopez is too lightly regarded as an actress. She's one of the most focused and hard-working people in the business and she got there without 1) being male 2) being blond and blue-eyed And not one of these woman can sing it like Teena Marie, so...there. Some people tell me I've got great legs...

I've actually met Jon a few times in clubs here in New York City. He's always a gentleman and a genuinely nice guy. Talented and handsome too, da bastid. Some people tell me I've got great legs...
