That song is HOT! I have this song in one of my Smooth Grooves CD's and I loved it the moment I heard it. They don't make songs like that no more and it's criminal. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

did you tell her about me?
does she know about us? how in the heat of the night, ooh baby we've been making love oh man, this song was DA JAM!! In the R&B world, she ruled the summer of 1982.This was the follow-up single to "Love Come Down".In my area, the DJ used to play both songs back-to-back.These singles were HOT! I saw her in concert last year and boy was I surprised when she opened her show with "Betcha She Don't Love You".

I saw her do "Action" on "Soul Train" back in the day and "Shame" and "Love Come Down" on "Motown Live" in the late 1990s. There was plenty of good ole ass shakin' and tittie rollin'. None of that rehearsed choreographed broadway looking shit. She just does what she feels and works it. Andy is a four letter word.

"Love Come down" was my Jam back in the day.
Talking of back in the day, are any of you old enough to remember Stacy Lattisaw's "Jump to the Beat" and Patrice Rushen's "Forget Me Not".?

She still knows how to get down The last time I've seen here she was joking about folx calling her an "old school" artist when she's in her early 40s. Hey Vain Daddy

this is the cutt!! They dont make it easy and smooth like this no more. Though it gets kinda repetitive.
I love the breakdon (Kat kat!!!) Get Loose is a funky ass album also, including "LOve Come Down" and another underrated jam "I Cant Stand It" which sounds like it was made by RIck James. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Very suggestively too in the part of the song where she says "we've been making love",she grinds her hips like you wouldn't believe,lol...making sure that the audience knows exactly what she's talking about.
