I love Mozart's "Dies Irie" from "Requiem." I love that! woot!


Also, in the requiem category, check out Henryk Gorecki's stirring Sympony of Sorrowful Songs No. 3, written for his wife, who was lost to a WWII concentration camp. Dawn Upshaw is wonderful on this. I first heard this piece in "Fearless," the movie with Rosie Perez. It's used quite effectively.
