Vibrator is "THA SHIT"!!! The jams Undeniably, If You Go Before Me, and It's Been Said are among the top masterpieces of this album!

SO true! And don't forget We Don't Have That Much Time Together. TTD is amazing, I'd love to see him live. Seasons might be his most incredible song ever - makes you weep...

it's alright for a season
but then it's time to go...

He's gonna play live here in Rome, Italy on July 24th.
But I'll go to the Jamiroquai concert instead.

...come on, Jamiroquai hasn't made as much as one single original idea in it's lifetime. That band is a cold calculated disgrace to real music with soul and heart.

If you have the chance to go see TTD you should do it. He has some things on his mind and his music is indeed alive and original.

"Symphony or Danm" and "Vibrator" are both top class albums.

And yes, I've seen both acts live here in Copenhagen and TTD rocked and was just so much better than Jamiroquai with their lame hollow plastic music and that twat of a singer.

...said jalokin, the Danish geezer.

Whatever, they are good, can play, and last but not least, they know how to have fun!!!

Oh, I forgot to say that when "Symphony or damn" came out, I went to see TT d'Arby live, and I thought: this is what Prince should do now, not the lame music he's playing!!!
And that one is definitely not one of my favourite TT D'arby albums!!!
So what?

Valeria,

I am afraid that I completely share the opinion of jalokin. Vai al concerto di TTD, Jamiroquai é finto !!

However, the Wild Card is not a great album, in my opinion. He could have come up with something more fresh and with more punch after 6 years !!

TTD/Sananda is fucking great! A truly underrated artist. As Chris Rock once said "he's as talented as Prince, but as popular as Andre Cymone! Every time I play his CDs for people they think its great until I tell them who it is, then they look at me like I've replaced their coffee with Folgers!"

TTD IS fuckin' great.
Personally i don't think he's made a bad album.
The one i play least is his first and even that's cool.

Wildcard is well worth investigation.
Sayin' About U is a fine tune.

It was a sidebar in an issue of Rolling Stone about three years ago. I couldn't tell you which issue it was now, but that quote really stuck in my head!

That's why I'm not going.
Also, I'm sick of artists who change their names!!!
I've never seen Jamiroquai live, so I'll tell you about it!
Thanx for your opinion, though!

Sananda has it all. It just isn't funny how overlooked he is. I can understand the reasons, pretty much. It's not his focus. Kinda makes it all the better...he's still a 'secret'. Easily my favourite artist, and still making amazing music. Amazing poet, too. Can't get enough of his work.
