What are the essential Funkadelic records?

I've already got Parliament's "Mothership Connection", "The Clones Of Dr. Funkenstein", and "Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome", so once I've picked up "Motor Booty Affair" and possibly whatever other Parliament I can get my hands on, I was wondering where to start on the P-Funk gang's other alter ego, Funkadelic. Say I didn't want Funkadelic's entire discography.. what are, at the very least, the essential albums?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone know when the rest of Funkadelic's albums are going to be remastered with extra tracks? I don't wanna buy Hardcore Jollies, One Nation, Uncle Jam, and Electric Spanking now, only to find that they get re-released a month later or something....

Get early Funkadelic which is the Westbound lps. You won't be disappointed start there!! That is the greatest Funkadelic lps. Then move up to the Warner material.

www.thefunkstore.com has many of the P-Funk releases
