Not really. I like his work, but there are better remixers. William Orbit is one of them. Heck, I aint even a fan, but Aphex Twin is better. Christian Zombie Vampires

Shep was really good 15-20 years ago. Remixing has come a long way since then. What has he done lately?
I really liked Stuart Price/Jacques Lu Cont before Madonna sunk her fangs into him.

I think his stuff if good for the time he was a hot remixer. Probably my favorite work he's ever done is as a producer for Madonna's "Erotica".

I first became aware of him through his reworking of Into the Groove. Great reworking of that song.

Great reworking of that song. well how Shep got the Gig with Madge, was from Benitez who used to do the "Bits N Pieces Mixes. and Madge used to listen to 99x and then when it switched over to 98.7 kiss.in the early 80s. everyone knew Shep Pettibone

He remixed almost the entire Rhythm Nation album. Every 12" seemed to have some kind of Shep remix.

Yes. I'm not familar with their remix work but they did a really great job on Madonna's "Sorry" and I read or heard Neil say something about how remixes back in the day used to do that and didn't make the song nearly unrecognizable (he obviously isn't a fan of the modern remix). And while Shep is great as Madonna's partner on her early ninties efforts, he destoryed "Into The Groove". For shame!

For shame! i love their remixes of blur's "boys and girls" and bowie's "hallo spaceboy"...i'm sure there are other PSB remixes i like, but those are the big two for me.

Two notable remixes...the "Boys and Girls" mix was a huge hit (I think "Hallo Spaceboy" also did some damage...It's very highly acclaimed). Have you ever heard their live verison of "Boys and Girls".
