She Wants Revenge Anyone else digging these guys? They're kind of a ripoff of New Order/Joy Division...but they're a GOOD ripoff of New Order/Joy Division. I love the album cover of their self-titled CD--brazenly sexy (even if I do have a prejudice against women who wear white panties).

"Someone must get hurt/And it won't be me..." I had a thread already on them

That's a very good description that can fit a lot of new acts . . . they're kind of a ripoff . . . but they're a GOOD ripoff. Most everyone rips off someone Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I actually like them.
I felt like I shouldn't cause it sounds sorta like the Killers but their song is catchy as hell If you will, so will I

why can't bands just be orginal..why do they have to either rip off thier influences..jesus,people should get smarter about how thier spending thier money on thier records..in conclusion this is a proof of how boring the music scene is today.

it's too late to be original; everything has already been done in one form or another

Most everyone rips off someone I was going to start a thread on how just about every band I hear these days sounds like Joy Division. This is just the impression I get from watching MTV2 sometimes. it's too late to be original; everything has already been done in one form or another This is so true and something I think way too much about in fact. I wonder what "new" sounds like, or if it doesn't even exist anymore. I choose the latter. I choose the latter. there is plenty of creativity in terms of songwriting, production, etc. But stylistically, I think we've reached the threshhold. We probably reached it years ago. Going forward, it's all taking existing templates and being creative within those frameworks. but who knows... maybe there is a new style out there that hasn't been discovered yet
