Here's some more "news" that was posted on a popular Madonna forum. It's a list of the tracks that are *supposedly* being prepared for rehearsals in L.A....all will not make the final cut but the ones with the stars are most probably going to:

Everybody *
Get Together *
Where's The Party (dub) *
Love Profusion *
Holiday *
Jump *
Like A Virgin (remix) *
Causing A Commotion
Vogue
Isaac
Rescue Me
Justify My Love (remix)*
Future Lovers (video/audio track) *
Bad Girl (remix) *
Bedtime Story *
Don't Tell Me*
You'll See

Music *
What It Feels Like For A Girl
Hollywood *
Why's It So Hard (remix)
Into The Groove
Deeper And Deeper
Hung Up*
Sorry *
Ray Of Light *
Let It Will Be*
Push

hmmm

Not bad. But it'd be nice to hear the remix of Nothing Fails.

It's going to be extremely hard to get tickets to the smaller venues.
The scalpers have software that locks up sales and it's literally impossible to get a ticket. The smaller venues will sell out in 30 seconds.

Looks like a fake to me. 2 ballads? I doubt she'll do ballads. And there's nothing from the last 2 albums...i am skeptical on a few of the choices here.

you know you kinda "lost contact" to an artist, if the current setlist holds a bigger number of songs you never even heard of compared to your old faves confused

Not really. Most of these are off the new album. and if you haven't heard it...that's why these seem foreign to you.

I doubt the setlist is "confirmed" It's probably version A which will morph into B, C, or D. RIT looked something like this in the beginning of rehearsals

Vogue
Swim
Nothing Really Matters
Nobody Knows Me
American Life
Xpress yourself
Burning Up
I'm So Stupid
Hollywood
Hanky Panky
Dress You Up
Deeper and Deeper
New Song
Nothing Fails
Dont Tell Me
Like A Prayer
Imagine
Holiday
Into the Groove
Music
Die Another Day (encore)
Ray of LIght (encore)

and we see how that changed...

I think what Jamie means is they have the group of songs picked out they wanna try. They will try each out and change as they go along. Dress You Up was in the set list up until the last week of rehersal when it was replaced by Material Girl.

Some songs will work some won't and some will be changed drastically

"Like A Virgin"? I'll give her "Take A Bow" because she's never done it (here is hoping it's a dance verison) but there are some eighties classics that are sorely missed...which makes me think it's real. Although, no "Music" or "Vogue"? It's questionable, too.

She better do regular arenas too. There's no way i'd be getting a ticket for a 2000 seater venue with the overflow of queens in Toronto. And i bet the ticket will cost a fortune. Greedy Madge.

My guess is that she will only play small venues in a few select cities (L.A..New York,etc)...perhaps one big arena show and one small venue in these cities. The Rolling Stones did this on their last tour. The smaller venues will be considered "special" exclusive performances and undoubtedly will have a higher ticket price.

Now that you mention the Stones, maybe Madonna can do a live DVD set like they did for Best Buy a few years back (they tend to release one every year that features one artist/band at several venues). She could also release an RIT show on there and....you know what!

Assuming it's true...."Why's It So Hard"? Someone is really looking into her backcatalog! If she does "Causin A Communtion", I'm there...I don't care if the bitch doesn't come to the D! Now seeing something like "Hollywood"...that just shows she is slightly out of touch with what her fans want.

If anything from AL, I want Hollywood and Love Profusion. I was pissed that she left off the best two songs from that album when she toured in support of it...the remix dance montage of Hollywood doesn't count.

I've never seen Madonna live in concert, since her tickets have always been such a fortune in price. I might start saving up to see up tour with this album.

And I'm finding it absolutely hard to believe that Madonna's had 2 #1 videos on TRL within the last the last 3 months.

In 2000 she was having enough trouble staying on that countdown for a day.

My, how the times have changed. biggrin

Madonna plans to hit the clubs for some dates on her upcoming summer tour, because according to her tour director,it wouldn't be the disco queen's kind of dance floor if it wasn't a bit confessional too.

"A typical Madonna show is quite produced",said Jamie King, who has been the creative director for Madonna's last two tours."She likes things large, she likes things theatrical, but this time, being that "Confessions On A Dancefloor" is an intimate album,we want to try to make people have an intimate experience as well as a big, produced theatrical experience. So look for us doing some small venues".

To achieve that intimacy,Madonna will have to be able to get close to everyone,so the tour is also going to be more interactive."I would like to put her as close to her people-her fans, her dancers, her fellow supporters-as possible",King said.

While that effect was achieved via the pit and the catwalk on her Re-Invention Tour, don't expect Madonna to merely reinvent that tour and trot out all the hits. The setlist has been confirmed,King said, and it's definitely "Confessions"-heavy,with "some familiar faces" popping up from the past two dance-themed videos "Hung Up" and "Sorry".That said, there will be a few yet-to-be-revealed fan favorites on the setlist as well.

"Listen,I love old Madonna songs-I don't know one person who doesn't",King said."But we want to mainly focus on this album.I think people love it and they want to hear it,so expect alot of the songs from "Confessions On A Dancefloor".

Tour dates have yet to be announced, but rehearsals begin March 1.

more rumors from a "reliable source"...

***"Like A Virgin" is definitely in.She did not want to do it but I hear that Stuart has a big sway with her.She said no when it was suggested, but he went away and worked on a remix and she loved it.A big disco number.

***"Nothing Really Matters" is in and it is in a BIG BIG disco fashion.

***Rehearsals do start on 1/03/06 but the band have been together already.

***On another point,it still has not been decided if "Jump" or "Get Together" will be the next single.Warners wants "Jump" while Maddy wants "Get Together".However,"Get Together" will be the second song in the show.

Not this again. Remember the fight they got in over Amazing vs Impressive Instant.

I say Jump be the 3rd single. It seems to have the most potential of the 2, though i'm all for having Get Together as the 4th.
And i want a video for both.
