It was just clothing.
Luckily I had all my stuff.

For the others it was a lot of late night laundry. smile

Plus, the haves shared with the havenots.
True bandmates stick together. nod

I hope the haves had the common decency to ask the have nots to get their own...

lol

For that, they were on their own.

Go out and cop or "late night laundry".

First of all, you KNOW I originally clicked on this thread because I knew we were all going to get into some hardcore discussion about the SONG lol.

But having moved on, this was a fun thread to check out. It's great that you can actually give folks an idea what it's like to be a working musician beyond the whole obsession with the pop factory scene, as sometimes a lot of people really have no clue what your lives are like.

The stories about the travel part are hilarious, though. The whole struggle to not check instrument thing is very familiar to me, as my old man has often nearly ripped his hair out at the roots when asked to check his MTD basses, most of which were hand built by Michael Tobias himself ---it just has you looking at the folks at the check-in going, "You REALLY DON'T get it, DO YOU????" lol lol . Oh, and from my own experience, IBERIA is a COMPLETE nightmare with losing luggage for trans-atlantic flights!!!! I'm pretty much at the point that if I'm flying Iberia, trans-atlantic, I just accept the fact beforehand that they're going to lose my luggage during the connecting flight, and for the past 5 years I've just stuffed a change of clothes into my carry-on and made sure I had comfortable black shoes on so I get get around okay once I've landed lol ...

...stories from "the road"...there really is nothin' quite like it, huh wink ?

Thank you my dear. wink

Teatro Lope de Vega is quite stunning inside.
It's currently the home of Mama Mia in Spain.
The tunes have all been rewritten in Spanish.
