Bowie's "Serious Moonlight E.P." on iTunes???

iTunes is supposed to have a new exclusive e.p. of live Bowie tracks from the "Serious Moonlight" tour, to help promote the upcoming DVD release of the Serious Moonlight tour concert film.

Now, I know iTunes cancelled the video clip they were going to sell, but supposedly the e.p. is out there to buy...but I can't find the damn thing anywhere. Anyone out there caught a glimpse of it or know how I can find it? I did all the searches I could think of to run, and I scoured the iTunes exclusives and new releases. sigh

It's realy worth downloading, the sound quality is amazing.
I hope the DVD release will be of the same quality.

I always heard the Serious Moonlight tour was his worst.

Maybe I got my facts wrong, but wasn't it an overproduced mess?

No. His worst tour was The Glass Spider tour in 1987. Serious Moonlight was pretty good, although I'm biased because I saw him for the first time on that tour.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

i think it's worth getting - even though it's the "let's dance" tour, which is thought of as his big pop sell-out, he was still doing a lot of his berlin-era material on that tour, and he sounded fantastic. also, i believe this DVD will have the "ricochet" documentary about the tour, which i only saw once years ago (on NIGHT FLIGHT, no less), but i remember really going ape over...especially a very cool scene involving a neon escalator and the song "sense of doubt".

I saw a track list and, your right, there is not that much "let's dance" music on the disc. Maybe three songs.

The band on this tour was incredible, as well. Tony Thompson, Carlos Alomar, Carmine Rojas, and Earl Slick, among others.

When is this coming out? I already have the semi-official Brazilian release, but I'd probably get it just for the bonus documentary.Speaking of documentaries, "Cracked Actor" should be officially released also.It documents his Diamond Dogs tour, which to my knowledge, complete footage of this tour doesn't even exist?I could be wrong though, some Bowiephiles here might know the answer to this.

i would love to see a version of 'cracked actor' that doesn't look like crap and which hasn't been hacked to bits!

the serious moonlight documentary is great - it's not the 'portrait of a young trainwreck' that cracked actor was, but it's very pretty and it's very VERY bowie.

i don't know that there's a complete video of a diamond dogs show...if there is, it's gotta be some really jacked-up looking fan bootleg, or else something locked up deep in bowie's vault.

The Serious Moonlight DVD will be released on March 13th..
There are no plans to release Cracked Actor in the near future and a Diamond Dogs show on DVD would be like finding the Holy Grail.

And what a great cover artwork!!

Hah, if a soldier would have looked like how he looked like on "Mr. Lawrence" he'd have his ass kicked each night. I'd still say it's Dave's better acting contributions. Never saw the one with him as a shark, though. That just might top it.
