i had the same thing with India's Acoustic Soul a few weeks ago
when a friend of mine was playing a song from that album in her
car and i said "wow, her new song sounds great"

to which my friend said "no you idiot, this is from YOUR album,
that you gave me a copy of like, what 3 years ago?"

biggrin

It was "Complicated Melody". It was that first line that immediately
got me

"if he were a color, he'd be deep dark forest green"

love

I've been listening to the album a lot since then. There is just so
much good stuff on there (it's a l-o-n-g album) that i can see why
we'd forgotten the odd song or two.

I have this CD and don't know it very well. I enjoy it when my friend Pearl spins this album though.

Slave2daGroove

I just broke this album out after seeing her fine self in the opening act of the Stuporbowl. Her 2nd album gets me as well.

She just makes me want to hug her with that voice and intention, just beauty within beauty within beauty.

She was a part of a Stevie Wonder medley with John Legend and Joss Stone. It was average except for Stevie but I'd never seen her before (other than the album covers).
