The Knife -Hearbeats

i came across this song the other day and was amazed! The song hasn't sunk in totally yet, but from the first couple of listens it sounds like they have that electroclash thing going on; dense synthesizers, seductive vocals, etc. They're (the song Hearbeats ) kinda like Goldfrapp, but better! biggrin i know they have a new album due out soon, but i want to go back and pick up their first release Deep Cuts which is what Heartbeats is on. anyone recommend this one?

OOOOH!!!! You better buy that album NOW! Worth the money, trust me. I heart "Heartbeats." There's so many jams on that LP like "Got 2 Let U" and "You Make Me Like Charity."

That whole album is a KILLAH. Electro pop HEAVEN. Please pick it up.

Also check out their latest Silent Shout. Great jams on there like the heady duet "Marble House" with Jay-Jay Johanson (who I love -- and you should also check out -- BTW), "Like A Pen" and "Neverland." But, yeah, "Deep Cuts" is DEFINITELY the album to start with if you wanna get into The Knife.

Are you into Tiga by any chance? His new cd is pretty good electro pop too!

Sexor is semi-decent. I liked "Far From Home" and "YGWM (You Gonna Want Me)"" (the 12" club mix is better) but most of it didn't really stick with me. Mylo's Destroy Rock & Roll is way better.
