Not to sidetrack your thread, but I saw these cute pictures of Sylvester on allmusic:

That song is one of the best, most over-the-top, out of this world dance songs ever!

That song is one of the best, most over-the-top, out of this world dance songs ever! he was a purty thing. have you read the biography about him, 'the fabulous sylvester'? it's one of the best pop star bios i've read in a long time - it was very lovingly written. even the scandalous stuff was written with admiration.

I have not read it. Perhaps I should track it down. Scandalous? Like what? lol I remember it mentioned on one of the many VH1 countdown shows that Sylvester did a version of Love Hangover. Martha Wash preferred it over the Diana Ross or Fifth Dimension version. I doubt it's ever even come close to seeing the light of day, but I'd love to hear it!

I think I like it, but I'm still deciding... i haven't had the time to really sit and absorb it yet...i love her voice, and the arrangements are quite nice...but there's something unsettling about it, like it's as angry as it is pretty. she's kinda like nina simone, tina turner and sinead o'connor all wrapped up in one package.
