Im not a Madonna fan but i bought Confessions on a Dancefloor..... .... and it was suprisingly groovable. i really like "get together " and "future lovers " however the album starts to get boring like from "how high" with the exception of "Jump " . considering what a mediocre singer and performer Madonna is and what a terrible state the music industry is in today its not really that bad. I WILL CONFESS THAT Confessions is my crack. I love it.
I'm enjoying this era while it lasts because it's hitting all the right buttons with me. This is my favorite Madonna album outside of her debut. My man Stuart Price was the executive producer on most of this disc and everything he made was quality... and I love him, so, for me, it's hard not to like this disc. Plus, I love the whole computer disco element. This is MY record. I LOVE NEW YORK FUTURE LOVERS SORRY JUMP GET TOGETHER HUNG UP ISSAC HOW HIGH LET IT WILL BE FORBIDDEN LOVE OH G*D, I NEED TO GET BACK TO NEW YORK SOON SO I HEAR THIS RECORD AT THE CLUBS!!! L.A. just doesn't know how to play this album properly. . [Edited 2/18/06 17:59pm]

I'm the only straight Madonna fan at my school that loved this album last year.
They're like "You like Madge?!" I say "You ain't gotta be gay to like her!" But, yes, Confessions on a Dancefloor is a killer. Ooh, little darlin' if you're

You know I'm still not sure about the impact "Confessions" is going to make on America...If "Sorry" is a hit and they keep releasing singles, this might be her renainsane...If not, I think Madonna's true comeback to the public is yet to come. I honestly think this is her best album in a while (I would rank in the top half of her albums, but there with "Erotica" and "Like A Prayer") but I still think she is capable of so much more.

She's been very successful with this album on the international scale and scoring her biggest international hit "Hung Up." That has to count for something. And she did it with minimal support from the largest market, the U.S. I wish the U.S. would pick up on the album and the singles but it seems that they're not interested. The media just doesn't give Madonna the time of day anymore. It could be because of her age, the type of music she makes, the AL backlash, whatever. She did manage to sell over a million copies of the album though which is certainly better than her last effort. This album might be doing damage control. We'll see.

I agree, the album reaches its' low point with "How High" and "Isaac".The latter song is musically interesting, but I can't tolerate that guy chanting throughout, lol.Thankfully, she soon comes to her senses and the album ends with two excellent tracks: the R&B-flavored "Push" and the defiant "Like It Or Not".

Okay..I'm I the only one who thinks 'Push' is a pile of wank? "Push" is great. It's the one song on the album that sounds R&B-ish I agree, the first half of the album is stronger than the second half.

I hope 'Jump' is the third single, & gets a decent video treatment..
unlike that other rush-job-of-a-video..Who knows with the tour preparations If we'll get a third of anything.. I don't really think warners is focused enough 2 pull succesful double A-side or separate releases (Us- Europe etc..) Just look at that disastrous Nothing Fails/Love P. thing.. ...Your coochie gonna swell up and fall apart...
