BEST ENDING TO A SONG EVER?!

"A giant boat from space landed with eerie grace and taken all the dead away" that always trips me out when I hear it. Total insanity and out of the box.

The Beatles - A Day In The Life

I like the extended loop on the last note which lasted about 45 seconds or so.

::: By no means comprehensive

Instrumentally:
James Brown :: The Payback (1973) (the part with the strings gets me every time -- I imagine a bunch of smoked-out people with afros in a red-lit room kicking their platform shoes in the air -- I wish you could jump inside my head to see how I picture this ending. It is the most idiosyncratic, psychedelic aural sensation)
The 5th Dimension :: Age of Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In (1969)
Joan Armatrading :: Talking To The Wall (1985)
Dionne Farris :: Passion (1994)
The Doors :: Light My Fire (1967)

Conceptually:
Janet Jackson :: Living In A World (They Didn't Make) (1989)
Patrick Juvet :: I Love America (1978)
Janet Jackson :: Miss You Much (Video Mix) (1989)
Tori Fixx :: Sweet Playa/Not Hiring (1998)

Sensorially:
Joan Armatrading :: Love My Baby (1982)
Alana Davis :: Got This Far (2001)
Michael Jackson :: Human Nature (1982)
Mr. Mister :: Broken Wings

Vocally:
Stevie Wonder :: Living For The City
Beach Boys :: California Girls (1965)
Buckinghams :: Kind of a Drag (1967)
