My problem with this is two fold. First of all, when a celebrity is going through the mud, it seems lots of time that their family comes out of the woodwork for two reasons.

A)Attention evil
B)Money evil

Now lots of people put tons of stock in to what family members say in books, but my thing is, wait and see if it comes out in court or not.

Now I'm not defending R. Kelly, because I am on the fence about what his deal is. However, I just don't think it is is fair to put a lot of stock into his family members claims, unless they go in and tell the court all this stuff.

well, the sex with underage girls isn't explosive.... it's been detailed in a videotape circulated several years ago, so that isn't news....

Whats disturbing is that like the MJ case. People sit around for years watch all this so called abuse happen and never say a word. Cmon now if my brother rapes my niece or anyone else for that matter why would I wait for a financially, lucrative oppurtunity to expose it. He should of whipped his ass then and called the police. Hell Lock his brother up to as an accessory to the crime. Perverts.

btw, that belt buckle is priceless!

True, all true. But, what's even more disturbing is that, apparently, R. knows his limits. As long as he's not raping and pissing on underage White girls, beating on a White wife, or cheating with White women, then... shrug

Here!! Here!! clapping

While that whole MJ travesty was taking place, I kept expecting all those so-called witnesses to be brought up on charges as accessories before and after the fact!

Like those criminals, R Kelly's brother is just as freaking guilty!

There's probably a lot of truth in this, but we'll never know because celebrities in general get better legal treatment than most other folk. I don't doubt that he would have been tried already had it been a white victim. I think the bigger truth is that the charges against him haven't held him back at all because his (alleged) victims were female. It's okay in our society and, in many ways, expected that women be sexualized even at a very young age. They don't make all those "barely legal" sites for no reason.

Be it spoken or implied, there's always this notion that the woman was aking for it or that she was a willing participant. But if a man or boy was the victim - different story. Men are "stronger" and more "determined." If they were victimized, well, by golly, of course they were completely innocent.

What i'd like to know is why R.Kelly's own brother is just now telling on him? Where was he when this information first leaked out? Did his conscious finally get the best of him? I think NOT! This cat is trying to get paid.

That idiot needs to be behind bars if he molested any young girl. Let an underaged white girl appear on one of these video's and his ass will be behind bars with a quickness. Why does the african american public keep supporting this fool when he is taking advantage of their youth. Where's the outcry!!
