Does anybody love this song as much as I do? I find myself putting this song on repeat, it's a great song, love the melody (so catchy!), the horns, the drums, everything about it. It would be awesome to hear this song being performed live.

this song, it just makes me feel so damn happy when I hear it.

According to Teena standards, her voice is moderately in control on this song. I like it, one of her better tunes. The little rap where she starts saying how down she is makes me but the rest is good!

Soon as I hear that piano run splash into "Heeeee!" it brings a smile to my face.

I've been hearing it on Sirius a lot....There is the 70s/80s R&B channel, Heart and Soul and the classic dance channel The Strobe and both play it ever so often.

I love "Square Biz". Teena at her best.

I absolutely LOVE this song!! In the summer of 1981,this was one of the baddest jams on the radio.Teena kicks ass on this track! Notably,this one of the first hit songs to feature a female rapping.On another recent thread,a few people were saying that they miss Teena's Motown days.She did ALOT of outstanding uptempo jams back then.Latter-day songs like "Lovergirl" are cool,but they can't compete with funky stuff like "Square Biz" and "Behind The Groove".

My favorite song from one of my favorite artists.
