My Tori Dream I had this dream last night that I wandered into a large suburban house where there was a party going on. I meandered down some stairs into their basement and found a piano. Couldn't believe it, but a book of Tori Amos piano music sat there so most of the dream involved me paging through it trying to play some tunes. I was also improvising some interesting tunes myself as well! The problem is I couldn't find anything I was looking for...
Not the Red Baron? No... Boys for Pele? No... Horses? No... But there were all these Tori songs with different names and notes...

Sounds to me like you see your musical tastes as very different from the mainstream (the party) so you want to create your own unique style of music using Tori as an influence, but haven't quite found it yet.

wow, thanks for the interpretation. I didn't analyze it, but now that you mention it, I could be a closet songwriter... One thing that Tori has opened up for me is I'm not afraid to sit down at the piano and just play notes and listen to what they sound like and search for melodies and improvise. Her autobiography had a huge influence on me in that she really breaks down the songwriting process.
In reality, I'm not much of a piano player or composer at all, but the fact that I'm dreaming chords, notes, and song titles must mean something is afoot...
