I read it's called "Ooo Wee", and they started playing it in Chicago.

I heard the song is mid-tempo, I have not heard it.

I am not sure if this is even the official first single. They're saying her new CD is due on 3/28. I'm not sure, it's not listed on Amazon yet.

I like Teena Marie better when she did funk joints...still I do like some of her slower joints

Hell yeah! Her Motown years with Rick James were the best. When she left and went to Epic, she had a few good uptempo jams like "Fix It", "Lovergirl", and "Jammin" but most of her uptempo stuff just sounded generic. It was lacking that Stone City Band sound. She did continue to make great slow jams though but I need some funk.

In that case, I don't want to hear it. If a song ain't for either the dance floor or the bedroom, it serves no purpose whatsoever. lol

I agreed Vainandy, she was. Teena Marie was funkier when she was in Motown. She even was responsible for produced one of my favorite songs called Gigolette by Ozone and I didn't even know that until recent even though her vocals were on that record. It does sound like Jill Jones sing background of that song, after all she did started out sing for Teena Marie. I thought that Rick James might had produced the song since that song does had his influence all over. Anyway that woman has mad talented.
