Tracie Spencer

What ever happened to her? I remember seeing her "Tender Kisses" video and it was awsome! She should make a comeback! Who Agrees?

from yahoo music

Tracie Spencer first made an impact as a child performer, winning the TV talent show Star Search and having a hit record under her belt by the time she was 12 years old. The Iowa-born singer's self-titled 1990 debut featured an interesting mix of youthfulness and potential soulfulness, which developed on songs like "Tender Kisses" and "This House." One of a handful of performers young enough to have a comeback while still in her twenties, Spencer resurfaced in 1999 with Tracie, which she described as her "coming of age record." ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide

"This House" comes on the radio every other day. It would be nice to hear her again.

All Music is your friend. biggrin She had a hit with It's All About You (Not About Me) from her 1999 album Tracie. Decent, if typical, late 90s R&B album. I've not listened to it in years.

I miss Tracie. I wish she'd make a comeback. pout

I bought her last single "It's All About You (Not About Me)" and played it incessantly last year.

I wish I could see that video again. I loved it.

It's a personal tradition for me to play this song every year at 11:59 pm on New Year's Eve.

Wow. I've never come across anyone that had such extreme emotion - either love or hate - brought out of them by Tracie Spencer.

She mostly works as a session singer these days, singing backup vocals on alot of R&B and hip-hop hits. That's her singing the chorus/hook of Eve's 2002 single "Satisfaction".
