Well, I think the new Placebo album is so good I actually wanted to start a thread about it. So that's exactly what I'm doing. Anybody doing it with me??

yup, it's a very good album. there was a thread on it a few weeks
ago when it first started circulating. i like the songs a lot and
eventho they are not as instantly melodic as on previous albums,
they do grow on you.

I m not too sure about Placebo.. A friend of mine in Antwerp wanted me to go see them with her and her mates ...are they as good as they were. I am seriously out of the loop..I quite like Depeche Mode and The cure tho``

I saw them in concert once (on a festival) and I liked it, but I wasn't blown away. I

have a thing for the singer's (what's he called again?) strange sex-appeal and his special voice. To me their best songs are the dreamy ones. Sometimes the rest of their music is just too loud for me now, too loud for my 2006-ears. Overall, I liked them better in the mid-nineties.
