Metacritic.com which tracks record reviews from major publications and websites has a slightly different list:

5. The Woods by Sleater-Kinney - 87

The Woods has popped up on some other lists too. smile It's really one of S-K's better albums.

I don't own any of those albums and I wouldn't even like to own any of them.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Maybe I watch too much Subterranean on MTV, but I've heard at least one song/seen at least one video from almost all those records. I didn't think they were that obscure. shrug

there's a sufjan video?!? drool

Google search Sufjan's "Romulus" video. It's not from Illinois, though, it's from Michigan.

well m.i.a. was born in sri lanka - only moved to the uk at nine - so she would classify 'non-white' if we need to seperate the list into ethnic backgrounds...

I love her too.....can't wait for her next album. I'm about to burn a whole in Arular smile Somebody did a mashup with URAQT and the Bravery's Honest Mistake.....her vocals sound pretty good over the Bravery's song. I like both songs so, I kinda knew I was gonna like the mash-up.

I like his voice.....and loved Silent Alarm smile, but for some reason they strike me as the type of band to put out a couple of albums and call it quits.
