HOW is Josh Homme like Prince? I hear this all the time, and their sounds couldn't be further apart. If it's just cause he's prolific, then Ryan Adams is closer than Josh Homme...

The only place I've heard that said is here. I like Josh, but I haven't seen or heard anything from him that would draw a comparison to P. He seems like a talented dude. I think Songs For The Deaf is one the best rock albums of the past ten years.
